Financial Services Associate

Blakes is seeking an associate with three to five years of experience and excellent academic credentials to work primarily with the project finance team within the Financial Services Group in our Toronto office.  In addition to working closely with other lawyers in our Financial Services Group, the successful candidate can expect to work closely with the Firm’s corporate practice on project development/finance matters.

Our project finance lawyers act in connection with various types of project financings inside and outside Canada.  In addition to our active natural resources project finance practice, Blakes has been a pioneer on Canadian P3 transactions, with all our Canadian offices having been actively involved as provincial governments across the country have embraced the P3 model for infrastructure renewal.  Given our established presence and the expanding opportunities in the P3 marketplace, Blakes is experiencing continuing and significant growth in this exciting and rewarding specialty area.  We count many of the industry’s biggest and most active participants among our clients.
