Eric Elvidge is a Partner in the Corporate and Securities Law Groups. Until July 1997, he was located in the Toronto office, where he worked for almost 20 years with a broad range of the Firm's corporate clients.

Eric has considerable experience advising public and private corporations on a wide variety of financing, mergers and acquisitions, and joint venture transactions.

Eric is recognized as a leading lawyer in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2010 in the areas of corporate governance and securities law. He is listed in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for 2010 as "repeatedly recommended" in the area of technology transactions.

Community

During the six years ended September 2008, Eric was a member of the board of directors of the Canadian Stroke Network, one of the Networks of Centres of Excellence, Canada's flagship science and technology program. For the last three years, he served as the chair of that board. Between 1998 and 2002, Eric was an active member of the board of directors of the Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
