Blakes Wins Canada’s Top Employers for Young People Award

Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes) has been named one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People for the third year in a row in 2023. This award recognizes the Firm’s investments in opportunities for young professionals through recruitment, training and career development.

In addition to running the largest law student program in Canada, Blakes hires co-op students for business development and other non-legal roles through partnerships with post-secondary institutions. In the past year, the Firm hired 57 summer law students, 75 articling students and 29 coop students across its Canadian offices. Blakes also has paid internships that provide students from racialized communities with experience in a business law environment. Young members of the Firm benefit from dedicated mentorship and relationship-building with colleagues at all levels.
