Widely recognized for his expertise in high-stakes disputes, Junior Sirivar joins Blakes as a Partner in the Toronto office.
TORONTO, January 16, 2025 — Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes or the Firm) is pleased to announce that Junior Sirivar, a leading commercial trial lawyer and arbitration specialist, has joined the Firm as a Partner in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution group.
Junior brings more than two decades of experience advising domestic and international clients on complex, high-stakes disputes.
Internationally recognized for his skill as a commercial litigator and as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, he has been involved in some of Canada’s most significant commercial cases. Junior is also an honorary member of COMBAR, a specialist association of the English and Welsh Bar for commercial barristers advising the international business community and is regularly retained as lead counsel in international arbitrations, including investor-state disputes. His practice covers key industries, including financial services, mining, telecommunications and healthcare, with experience in jurisdictions including Canada, South America and the European Union.
