Fast-growing Asian economies are increasingly turning to natural gas to produce the power they need to continue to develop. They are seeking stable, secure and long-term supplies. Gas producers in Canada have an abundant resource and are moving to supply growing global markets. Blakes brings a wealth of expertise in liquefied natural gas (LNG) project development and understands the nuances of risk allocation across the value chain. We have advised clients in primary project proponent, gas supply and procurement, gas sales and off-take, equity investment and feedstock transportation roles, including regulatory, First Nations and project financing clients.
