Climate Change

Through experience, our Environmental team has developed specialized expertise related to current and emerging climate-change regulatory regimes, maximizing sustainable energy opportunities, protecting and leveraging new technologies, and encouraging investments and operations in Canada and internationally. We also act for global corporations and investment banks in the acquisition and divestment of businesses and assets in the carbon finance sector.
 
Our role is to provide project development and day-to-day business operations advice; environmental risk assessment and regulatory guidance; monitoring, lobbying and government advocacy; and dispute resolution services. We also conduct due diligence, provide transactional advice and represent clients before regulatory authorities.
