Blakes Women in Leadership Webinar Series Part 2: Career Growth and Transitions in Times of Crisis

We invite you to join us for Part 2 of our three-part Women in Leadership series with Sally Helgesen, an internationally best-selling author, speaker and leadership coach. Ranked number six among the world’s top thought leaders by Global Gurus, Sally’s most recent book, How Women Rise with Marshall Goldsmith has been translated into 17 languages.
 
Sally kicked off Part 1 of our series by examining the non-linear and often messy process of growing and evolving our careers. She demonstrated the value of focusing our attention on remaining fully present and highly intentional as we navigate the uncertainties of transitions.
 
In Part 2, Sally will explore the value of being broadly and deeply connected. She will show how to build highly intentional networks that help us engage the allies we will need to support us through transition. Using her popular fishbowl coaching technique, she will help participants identify opportunities they may be overlooking as well as thought patterns that can hinder women from bringing more intention to the transition process.

Please note that pursuant to the amendments to the Règlement sur la formation continue obligatoire des avocats (Regulation respecting mandatory continuing education for lawyers – available in French only) of the Barreau du Québec, which came into force on April 1, 2019, the status of “recognized provider” and the mandatory “recognition” of activities have been abolished. 
 
Blakes will continue to provide you with a confirmation of participation for your records. As stipulated in the above-mentioned regulation, members must preserve supporting documents attesting their completion of training activities for a period of seven years beginning on April 30 following the end of the reference period during which such activities were completed.

This program has been accredited for 1 CPD Credit Hour with The Law Society of British Columbia and counts towards the two-hour requirement for ethics and/or practice management.
