Corporate Directors: Getting Tough Decisions Right When Undertaking an IPO

February 6, 2025 - 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Corporate directors must increasingly make critical decisions to address the strategic and governance issues faced by the corporations they lead. These decisions are more challenging in the process of going public, as they must be made under pressure from company founders, early-stage investors and bankers, as well as scrutiny from regulators and the media.

In this webinar, our panel will discuss examples of difficult decisions boards of directors have encountered and the approaches they have used (with the input of senior management and advisors) to make decisions that are, and can be seen to be, in the corporation’s best interests. While these examples will be drawn from experiences in the lead-up to IPOs, the takeaways will apply more broadly to board decision-making for corporations at all stages.
