About Brooke

Brooke joins Blakes following her second year of law school at the University of Calgary. She is also a participant in the Certificate in Common Law in French Program in partnership with the University of Ottawa. Prior to attending law school, Brooke obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen’s University with a major in Global Development Studies and a minor in Political Studies.

During law school, Brooke has participated in Student Legal Assistance, the Consent Project with Pro Bono Students Canada, and the Alberta Law Review. She also tutored first year law students through the University of Calgary Academic Success Program. Brooke was also a participant in the 2022 Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot and completed an internship in French at the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta.

In her spare time, Brooke enjoys reading historical fiction, baking, and hot chocolate.
