About Cassandra

Cassandra's practice focuses on Indigenous and environmental law. She advises clients on a wide range of legal matters, including commercial transactions, consultation, permitting, corporate compliance and regulatory issues. Cassandra's experience includes representing clients in administrative monetary penalty proceedings and assisting with regulatory prosecutions. 

Cassandra provides strategic guidance on Indigenous and environmental issues within commercial transactions, assisting clients on addressing the intricacies of these sectors. She assists clients with navigating complex regulatory frameworks and providing advice on the nuances of relationship building practices. 

Cassandra received her JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. She graduated with a specialization in environmental and natural resource law.

  • Drafting commercial relationship agreements with Indigenous groups and providing advice on matters including procurement and business opportunities

  • Assisting with environmental and Indigenous due diligence for successful corporate transactions, including the natural resource and technology sectors

  • Advising clients on Indigenous consultation matters

  • Advising clients on a range of environmental issues regarding the development of large-scale projects, including permitting and ongoing regulatory compliance

  • Assisting with federal regulatory prosecutions
