About Rebecca

Rebecca's practice covers a broad range of financing transactions including project financing, in particular in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as asset-based financing, acquisition and corporate financing. She acts for both lenders and borrowers and participates in all aspects of the process, from due diligence to transaction closing.

Rebecca has been involved in bank and project financings across Canada and in Europe and Africa. She also advises clients who are development finance institutions on their investments in emerging markets.

Rebecca is fluent in English and French.

Select Experience

Recent experience includes representing:

  • A syndicate of lenders in connection with the acquisition of a portfolio of wind and hydroelectric projects in Ontario and Nova Scotia

  • A syndicate of lenders in connection with the financing of a 200 MW wind farm project in Quebec

  • A syndicate of lenders for the C$570-million refinancing of four wind farms in Quebec, totaling 480 MW in aggregate

  • A lender for the C$75.8-million financing of a 22 MW wind farm project in of Saskatchewan

  • The lenders for a 270 MW wind farm project in Ontario

  • The lenders for the financing of 23.5 MW and 24 MW wind farm projects in Quebec

  • A TSX-listed company operating in the mobility sector in its acquisition of a US-based manufacturing business
