About Dana
Dana's practice covers a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including cross‑border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, complex commercial transactions and the development of major power and infrastructure projects.
Dana has represented both domestic and international clients across various industries, including power and renewables, infrastructure, food and beverage, life sciences, financial services, gaming, and technology. Additionally, Dana has worked with government‑owned or regulated entities, as well as clients with operations that include government-owned assets, advising on regulatory and policy matters as they relate to private-sector commercial activities.
Dana’s corporate experience has been enhanced by her role as in-house counsel on secondment at a large retail service company, where she provided practical legal advice to senior leadership and various business units on corporate, commercial and operational matters. She also completed a secondment at a leading North American energy generator, where she was engaged in a variety of regulatory and commercial matters.
Dana is a member of the Corporate & Commercial group at Blakes, recognized in the 2025 edition of Chambers Canada as a Band 1 practice for M&A and Corporate & Commercial (the guide’s highest ranking), and as the top Corporate & Commercial practice in The Globe and Mail's 2025 edition of "Canada's Best Law Firms."
