About Farrukh
Farrukh practises corporate and commercial law, with a focus on banking and commercial lending matters, corporate restructuring, insolvency, debt financing, acquisition finance, project finance, distressed asset transactions, and related transactional work. He has experience representing borrowers, lending institutions, and court officers in secured and unsecured debt financing transactions, including bilateral and syndicated loan facilities, as well as in domestic and cross-border corporate reorganizations and insolvency matters.
Farrukh also advises clients on general corporate and commercial matters, providing strategic advice and risk analysis on the structuring of corporate and lending transactions. He has represented a diverse range of clients, including major debtor corporations, bondholders, senior lenders, court officers, directors, and acquirers in both national and cross-border matters.
Prior to joining Blakes, Farrukh summered, articled and worked as an associate at another prominent national law firm.
