Jaskaran's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and a range of capital markets transactions, including financings, public offerings, and private placements of securities. He also advises clients on corporate governance and securities regulatory matters, including the continuous disclosure obligations of public issuers.

Jaskaran joined Blakes as a summer student in 2020 and completed his articles with the Firm in 2022/2023.

  • Underwriters on an offering of C$144-million of common shares of Sienna Senior Living Inc.

  • goeasy Ltd. in connection with its offering of US$200-million aggregate principal amount of 7.625% senior unsecured notes due 2029

  • CIBC in connection with the first-ever Canadian Depositary Receipts (CDRs), a novel structured product providing Canadian investors with access to hedged fractional investing in large-cap foreign stocks

  • New Leaf Venture Partners as lead investor on the US$20-million Series C financing of Flosonics Medical
