About Jennifer

As an acting member of the Blakes Professional Resources team, Jennifer supports the Firm's summer and articling student programs including recruitment, pro bono, mentorship and professional development initiatives.

Prior to assuming this role, Jennifer was an Associate in the Employment & Labour group, where she provided advice to employers in all areas of employment and labour law, including pre-employment and hiring issues, employment standards, human rights, labour relations, workplace safety and insurance, privacy, occupational health and safety, and wrongful dismissal.

Jennifer first joined Blakes as a summer student in 2016 and later completed her articles with the Firm in 2017/2018. During her articles, Jennifer completed a labour and employment secondment at a large engineering and electronics company. Jennifer also recently completed an employment secondment at an insurance company.
