Junior’s practice focuses on high-stakes litigation and arbitration. He works with domestic and international clients to resolve their most complex disputes, with deep expertise across the financial services, mining, telecommunications and healthcare sectors.

Widely recognized as a leading trial counsel, Junior has appeared in some of the most significant recent commercial cases in Canada. He is also regularly retained as lead arbitration counsel in ad hoc and institutional international arbitrations in jurisdictions including Canada, South America and the European Union.

  • A diversified mining company in an international arbitration concerning an alleged breach of a US$350-million agreement before an ad hoc tribunal
  • An avionics contractor in an international arbitration concerning a breach of contract claim before an ICC International Court of Arbitration tribunal
  • A global iron ore producer in an arbitration concerning an alleged breach of contract claim before an ad hoc tribunal
  • A diversified global mining company in an international arbitration concerning an alleged breach of a royalty agreement before an ad hoc United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) tribunal
