About Katey
Katey returns to Blakes as an Articling Student after summering with the Firm in 2023. She received her JD from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University.
During her studies, Katey volunteered with Pro Bono Dalhousie, where she worked with members of the Halifax community to draft and execute wills. Katey spent a semester at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam where she studied the legal developments in artificial intelligence and internet governance.
Katey holds an honours bachelor of science from Queen's University in life sciences with a minor in health studies. She still maintains her interests in science and health and hopes to implement them into her legal career.
