About Lori

Lori specializes in the area of financial services and, to a lesser extent, restructuring and insolvency. She has extensive experience in matters relating to the Personal Property Security Act and has assisted lawyers on numerous securitizations, financings and reorganizations, including restructuring and enforcement of security.

Most recently, Lori has been involved in transactions involving major leasing companies, food manufacturers, chemical producers and tire manufacturers. She has also assisted in various telecommunication, aerospace and shipping-related transactions. Many of these transactions have raised not only domestic personal property security issues, but have also extended to become cross-border and international in nature.

Lori has expanded her scope of knowledge to include Canadian provincial acts, the Uniform Commercial Code and various registry systems throughout the world.

Professional Activities

Lori has prepared and presented seminars conducted for clients, Osgoode Hall and articling students.
