About Marc-André

Marc-André joined the Blakes team as a summer student in 2021 and is currently articling with the Firm.

Marc-André obtained a bachelor of laws degree from the Université de Montréal. He also earned both a master’s degree (LL.M.) and a Master 2 in comparative business law through a joint program offered by the Université de Montréal and the Université Lumière Lyon 2 in France.

Before joining Blakes, Marc-André was a political advisor to a federal member of Parliament . As a law student, he was seconded to a major Canadian bank and the legal department of Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec.

Marc-André is fluent in English and French.
