Matthew’s practice primarily services clients in the resource sector, with a strong focus on Indigenous consultation and project development. His practice is national in scope, acting for clients across Canada on environmental and Indigenous law matters.

Matthew has experience assisting clients in navigating Indigenous consultation, environmental assessments, commercial transactions, and regulatory prosecutions.

  • Providing strategic advice on Indigenous-related legal matters, including consultation and regulatory processes, construction and procurement, and land management regimes

  • Advising on environmental assessments for resource companies across Canada

  • Advising corporations on environmental due diligence in commercial transactions
