About Michael

Michael advises companies, financial sponsors and foreign law firms on a wide variety of transactions inbound to Canada, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint venture and shareholders agreements, corporate reorganizations, and general advisory matters.

Michael has particular expertise in private equity, and in the technology, mining, energy, infrastructure, and defence sectors.

Early in his career, Michael was seconded to a multinational integrated energy company, providing him with valuable experience considering issues from the perspectives of business and in-house legal teams.
