About Morgan

Morgan returns to Blakes as an Articling Student.

Morgan recently completed her JD program at Western University, where she was a member of the 2023 Arnup Cup Trial Advocacy Competition team. At the competition, Morgan’s team placed first and was awarded the 2023 Arnup Cup. Her team went on to place second at the Sopinka Cup National Trial Advocacy Competition. Morgan was awarded top oralist in her cohort’s First-Year Appellate Competition (FYAC) and awarded the 2022 FYAC Cup. She also worked as a research assistant in the areas of tort law and Indigenous law and won the 2023 course prize in Indigenous law.

Prior to law school, Morgan worked as a personal insurance representative while completing her honours bachelor of commerce degree in accounting and marketing at the University of Northern British Columbia.
