About Renée
Renée practises corporate and commercial law and advises clients on a variety of issues, including intellectual property, communications, consumer protection, product advertising and regulatory compliance across a wide range of industries. She also takes part in corporate transactions, especially as they involve technology and IP centered companies and highly regulated industries, notably assisting in due diligence, drafting transaction documents and transaction closing. Renée also assists in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, licensing agreements and other technology-related agreements.
Drawing on her prior experience working in the film industry, Renée advises on all aspects of development, production, financing, copyright protection, web/online content, licensing, corporate organization and distribution for feature films and television programs. She also guides telecommunications and broadcasting companies in connection with their Canadian regulatory obligations and interacts with the relevant communications regulators regarding annual filings and licensing matters.
Renée is fluent in English and French.
