Samuel joins Blakes after completing his second year of law school at the University of Alberta. During law school, Samuel was an editor for the Alberta Law Review, volunteered as a case worker for Student Legal Services, and was an editor for Canons of Construction.

Prior to law school, Samuel obtained a bachelor of arts from the University of British Columbia, graduating with distinction.

In his spare time, Samuel enjoys playing soccer, listening to music, and exploring local restaurants and cafes.
