About Sana

Sana has a broad employment and labour law practice. She provides advice to employers in all areas of employment and labour law, including pre-employment and hiring issues, the preparation of employment agreements and employment policies, employment standards, human rights, labour relations, workplace safety and insurance, privacy, occupational health and safety, and wrongful dismissal. Sana also regularly advises on the employment aspects of corporate transactions.

Sana first joined Blakes as a Summer Student in 2022 and later completed her articles with the Firm in 2023/2024.

Professional Activities

Sana is a member of The Advocates' Society. She also currently sits on the board of the North York Women's Centre, a North York based non-profit which offers free women's empowerment programs and support.

Sana is also a lawyer mentor with the Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) program at Blakes, where she mentors high school students facing barriers to postsecondary access.
