About Sophia
Sophia joins Blakes after completing her JD at the University of Saskatchewan.
During law school, Sophia volunteered with the Law Students Association as the student representative, competed on the law games team, and participated in the College of Law dodgeball intramural team. She has extensive mooting experience and was recently a competitor in the Laskin Moot, where she and her partner received third place for their factum.
Prior to law school, Sophia obtained a bachelor of arts in liberal studies with a double concentration in business and drama (cum laude) from St. Mary's University in Calgary. During her undergraduate degree, she ran on the varsity track team, volunteered on the Student Legislative Council and the Presidents Volunteer team, and acted in the annual Ghost Tours.
In her spare time, Sophia enjoys going to concerts, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
