Sukaina's practice focuses on advising clients on a variety of capital markets transactions, including financings, public offerings and private placements, as well as mergers and acquisitions. She also advises clients on corporate governance and securities regulatory matters, including the continuous disclosure obligations of public issuers.

  • Penn National Gaming, Inc. in connection with its US$2-billion acquisition of Score Media and Gaming, Inc., creating a leading North America digital sports content, gaming and technology company

  • Open Text Corporation in connection with its cross-border US$1-billion offering of senior secured notes

  • dentalcorp Holdings Ltd. in connection with its C$700-million initial public offering and C$250-million concurrent private placement of subordinate voting shares for total proceeds of approximately C$950-million

  • D2L Inc. in connection with its C$150-million initial public offering of subordinate voting shares

  • Granite REIT Holdings LP in connection with its offering of senior unsecured debentures totalling C$500-million

  • A major U.S. financial institution in connection with over C$1-billion of maple bond offerings and numerous other private placements of debt and preferred stock in Canada
