About Tina

Tina maintains a comprehensive commercial real estate practice. She has extensive experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures, secured financings, project development and commercial leasing. She regularly acts on transactions involving the purchase and sale of both portfolio and single property investments, sale-leaseback arrangements, as well as single-lender and syndicated construction, servicing, term and takeout financing.

Tina represents a variety of prominent clients, including pension funds, private equity funds, private investors, financial institutions, developers and REITs. She has experience on both sides of the negotiating table, having acted for purchasers and vendors, lenders and borrowers, tenants and landlords. 

Tina also frequently advises on the real estate aspects of commercial transactions, including business acquisitions, share transactions, and conventional and renewable energy projects.

  • A major institutional investor in the financing of a landmark mixed-use development in downtown Edmonton

  • A Canadian institutional lender in the construction financing for the construction and development of the Curtis Block project near downtown Calgary

  • A Canadian institutional lender in the financing of a mixed-use development in Calgary

  • An American institutional lender in the financing of a portfolio of hotels in Western Canada

  • A private equity firm in its acquisition of a prominent office tower in downtown Calgary

  • A large real estate fund in connection with the acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of various industrial properties in Western Canada

  • A Canadian car dealership in acquisitions, dispositions and financings in Western Canada

  • A large American car dealership in the real estate aspects of its acquisition of a Canadian luxury car dealership chain
