Susan Tomaine Named in Business in Vancouver’s Forty Under 40

Blakes is pleased to announce that Susan Tomaine​, one of our corporate partners in Vancouver, was recently recognized as one of Business in Vancouver’s Forty Under 40. The awards, which are presented annually, salute B.C.’s brightest and best business talent, singling out the achievements of entrepreneurs, executives and professionals. Winners are selected based on their demonstrated excellence in business, judgement, leadership and community contribution.

Susan has been practising corporate and securities law for 13 years. She first joined Blakes in 2007 and has been a member of the Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions groups ever since. She is also chair of the Firm's Social Committee and a member of the Associates Committee and the Women@Blakes network.

Earlier this year, Susan was recognized as a leading private equity lawyer in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for the second time in two years.
