• The lead investor in the US$150-million Series F financing of GaN Systems, a developer of power conversion semiconductors for clean technology applications, valuing GaN at US$650-million.

• Suncor Energy Inc. on its investment in Enerkem Inc., a Canadian biofuel technology company.

• Nutrien Inc. on its acquisition of Starpharma Holding Ltd.'s Australian agrochemical business and its proprietary dendrimer polymer technology portfolio.
