About Alexander

Alex practises in the Blakes inSource group, a division of Blakes that uses an alternative service delivery model to help clients meet their legal needs in innovative and efficient ways. He helps manage the work of the inSource group's lawyers and legal professionals.

Alex has experience planning and managing complex projects for the Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Competition & Anti-Trust, Privacy & Data Protection and Corporate & Commercial practice groups. These projects include due diligence, e-discovery and document production matters, as well as responses to data breaches. Alex also advises clients on small to medium-sized mergers and acquisitions.

Alex regularly advises not-for-profit corporations and registered charities on a wide range of matters, including governance and organizational structure, compliance, charitable registration, charitable gifts and receipting, intermediary relationships and qualifying disbursements, fundraising and strategic planning. He assists charity and not-for-profit clients of all levels of complexity and scale, from small community organizations to national foundations.

Prior to joining the inSource team in 2018, Alex worked as an associate in the corporate/commercial groups of two leading business law firms in Toronto.
