About Siobhan
Siobhan advises clients on a broad range of M&A, corporate and securities transactions, with a particular focus on mining and corporate governance. Her experience covers all aspects of securities and business law, including public offerings, private placements, takeover bids, reverse takeover bids, plans of arrangement, venture capital investments, private equity transactions and private acquisitions. She also represents clients in their dealings with the Canadian securities commissions and stock exchanges and advises on continuous disclosure and corporate governance compliance.
With respect to mining and mineral exploration, Siobhan provides specialized advice to clients on industry-specific matters, including acquisitions and divestitures, mine reclamation and closure issues, mineral rights analyses, and offtake, streaming, earn-in, option, joint venture, marketing and royalty agreements.
Siobhan was seconded to the legal department of one of Canada’s largest pension-investment
managers, where she participated in a wide range of international private equity transactions in the areas
of financial services, energy, infrastructure, food and beverage, and healthcare.
Siobhan is fluent in English and French.
